The Quilt Raffle

We have an amazing group of ladies that hand craft several beautiful quilts every year and donate them to raffle off at our event. They pour endless hours into creating the many different sizes & designs that are raffled off for the benefit of St. Jude. They make many different horse & farm related quilts in addition to some general designs as well. Normally, there will be several lap quilts as well as a few larger quilts. All are beautiful and lovingly created by these dedicated ladies. It's always exciting to see what they'll bring each year! Quilts are numbered and displayed throughout the day. Make sure you bring a little extra money to take a chance on some or all of your favorites. Quilts will be raffled off one at a time at the conclusion of the ride. Tickets can be purchased at the registration table. Make sure you purchase a few tickets to support the work of these great ladies and St. Jude.

DJ/Karaoke

Throughout the day, G-Man is on site to play music, entertain & inform us. Look for him near the registration area. Have a song you want to hear? Want to belt out a tune yourself? Let him know. And don't forget to let the kids come sing - he loves to get the kids involved! G-Man has been with us for several years now and his services are entirely donated for our event. He loves participating in community events throughout Beaver Co. (he has done the Maple Syrup Festival, Car cruises in Beaver Falls, Freedom and New Brighton, as well as Beaver Falls 4th of July festivities just to name a few). The Saddle Up is one of his favorite events.

Top Prize/Trophy Saddle 2011

We are very grateful to have Tazmanian Freight Systems donating our trophy saddle. Their willingness to make such a special donation benefits our event so much by challenging our riders to collect as many donations as possible trying to earn this top prize saddle. But more importantly, it benefits the children of St Jude, as each person reaching for this goal, contributes significantly to our total. Without the trophy saddle, our donations would be much lower. Thank you .

Don't forget: this a BYOH event (Bring Your Own Horse) - Horses will not be provided for this event. If you have a horse & would like to attend, but are unable to get here; please contact us & we will try to see if there is anyone with space in their trailer coming from your area.
